I was picked in March from my home in Birmingham. I was very good even on the hours long drive. I met my new owner Nathan, a boy with Autism they told me. I was to be trained by Barkbusters for a year and then on to Dogs for Good. I’m still training there.
Even before my training, I could tell if my owner was upset, I’d here him and run as fast as I could, licked his face and he laughed. I got treats as a reward so now I know what I need to do. Dogs for good showed me the hard leg press, that helps meltdowns with the pressure on his body. I haven’t yet finished my training but I’ve already got Nathan to come out the house and take me on walks. He never left the house before!
We’re all going on holiday soon in a caravan at a Haven site and I’m allowed! We will continue our story in about a month when we return. I have a training session just before we go so I’ll tell you about that
